Daring Greatly™-Rising Strong™-The Gifts of Imperfection™ Do you know the work of Brené Brown? Do you want to experience her work personally? Do you want to show up, be seen and live brave but don’t know how? The Daring Way™ is a community of wholehearted practitioners who believe in the power of owning our stories, and who recognize that vulnerability is our most accurate measure of courage. The curricula includes Daring Greatly™, Rising Strong™, and The Gifts of Imperfection™. All curricula of The Daring Way™ were developed to help men, women, and adolescents learn how to show up, be seen, and live braver lives. Daring Greatly™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The method was designed for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders. During the process we will explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. You are invited to examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding you back and identify the new choices and practices that will move them toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead. Rising Strong™ The physics of vulnerability is simple: If we are brave enough, often enough, we will fall. Rising Strong is a book about what it takes to get back up and how owning our stories of struggle gives us the power to write a daring new ending. Struggle can be our greatest call to courage and the clearest path to a wholehearted life. The Gifts of Imperfection™ This work is about learning to be wholehearted, which is to engage with the world from a place of worthiness. Our wholehearted journey is about moving from “What will people think?” to “I am imperfect and I am enough.” Brené Brown defines wholehearted living as “engaging in our lives from a place of worthiness.” She refers to wholehearted living as a journey, not a one-time choice. The Daring Way™ guideposts are the themes where we must increase our awareness and clarity of the choices that lead us to living more wholehearted lives. We need to figure out what we really need to keep and what we need to let go of – the choices that are keeping us stuck. Embrace your imperfections – they are what makes you, YOU! |
